A Came To Believe Recovery retreat jump-starts recovery by offering the chance to go through the Steps that have worked for hundreds of thousands of us since they were first described over 80 years ago
Your recovery begins when you decide that you want change, and want to take action to live a joyous and free life. Our three-day weekend retreat gives you an immersive opportunity to achieve a spiritual awakening and get the tools that lead to hope and freedom.
In-person retreats are run in a residential style, to allow you to immerse yourselves away from the stress and distractions of life. Group sessions are run over the day-time by trained and vetted volunteers, with group meals and evening activities including music, allowing you to make meaningful connections with like-minded people. Paper copies of materials are given out to complement the sessions and include materials to take away to allow you to continue the work, as well as details of weekly online meetings.
Weekly online meetings are free and open to anyone to attend, shaped by those attending each week to support you best by meeting you where you are at in your recovery.
Online retreats run with a wider team of volunteers and speakers, sharing our tools and resources in a digital format to supplement the work done. Breakout rooms allow smaller discussions and private 1-1 work for sensitive subjects.
We understand that life can be challenging financially, particularly for those navigating addiction recovery. That’s why we ensure our retreats are offered at cost price. Your payment goes directly towards covering accommodation, meals, and materials. All of our speakers and leaders generously volunteer their time, allowing us to keep expenses as low as possible while providing a supportive and transformative experience. If you need financial support, please reach out to our team to discuss the options available to you.
Each venue has different pricing structures, each offering different benefits –
